From Kirkcudbright proceed over the bridge signposted towards Gatehouse and upon leaving the 30 mph zone turn left onto the B727, signposted to Borgue, follow the coast road down and upon passing Dhoon Beach on the left-hand side, drive up through the wooded glen, turning left into the cul de sac (Millhall) and left again.

The private driveway down to Burnfoot Cottage and Burnfoot Bothy lead to the beginning of your wonderful beach holiday!
